I use Lastpass personally for my Password management. Only way to truly protect yourself is to have complex individual passwords for each and every site you have an account at. That way if something gets compromised, you dont compromise all your accounts, only the one.

I've tried KeePass 2 and LastPass, currently use LastPass.

Is last pass safe and reliable?

They had some issues in 2011 and 2015 when they got hacked, the one who were really vulnerable during those time were the one who set a weak master password. You can actually have 2FA in LastPass for added security.

If you're really afraid to store your password online, you can use KeePass 2, it's totally offline, you need to have strong master password and put the password database in a safe location since it's kept in your PC.

I use Keepass 2 portable, I like having total control over my password.

I don't make it a habit of connecting to my account outside of my home anyway so it doesn't bother me too much to have it local only though I do have a copy of my password database on a flashdrive that I carry on me in case I do ever need it.

You can also just the database to your OneDrive/Google Drive private account to access it everywhere.

I would suggest enabling Secure Desktop for your master password if you use it (in the Security tab in Options, previous to last box), as it prevents things like keyloggers from logging your master password.
