Performance issues

HI, I have a laptop with an MX 150, 16gb of ram and an i5 8th gen. When I first received it I was able to play 1080 with 70 fps on fortnite. Now I can barely achieve 60 fps on ultra-low and get constant frame drops. Yes, I know by no means that this is a gaming laptop, but even when comparing benchmarks from other people mine is very much more behind. Anyways to fix this?

when did you first play fortnite.

i too lost alot of fps since season 3

I have updated all the necessary drivers. Also yes, I started in season 3 and ever since it has significantly decreased in performance.

It could be thermal throttling, use some canned air and blow out your heatsinks.  Unless you have one of those super thin things, then find the little openings, and make sure you don't have any weird residue on it, looking at you noodle soup.
