Hello Im planning to build this new unit

i3 8100

asus prime h310m-e

8gb Ram single stick

seasonic m12ii-evo 520w

galax gtx 1070

will this bottleneck???

if it is then thats fine cant upgrade the cpu this is all can do with my budget, why didnt i pick the gtx 1060 6gb instead if youre asking, cuz i found a nice computer parts retailer here in my country that gtx 1060 6gb and 1070 are almost the same price, just add a like 10-15 usd so i might as well grab it right??

spend the extra $70 and get the i5 8400. If you think that is too much then you just need to be patient. You don't want to cheap your system over $70 bucks usd do you?

Grabbing the 1070 for 10 bucks over the 1060? YES! Nice find!

While you're saving for that i5 8400 see if you can save even more to grab an extra stick of 8gb ram. 16gb ram is like a bare minimum nowadays.

Your mobo will fit the i5 in case you were going to ask by the way.

I'm not too familiar with seasonic's psu's but I do trust their brand as a whole.

the i3 will bottleneck in higher refresh rates, i'd save up abit for a ryzen 1600/i5 8400 if possible. the M12ii is old as dirt and missing protections, get a corsair CX, be quiet pure power 10 or coolermaster masterwatt instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

For the CPU and GPU combo, it's a bottleneck half of the time. But the real performance issue here is the RAM. Single Stick RAM will hurt high FPS gaming. But if you're just aiming for 60FPS. Then Single Stick is fine.

different units, the masterwatt lite is worse.
