i5-7500 H110M-R BIOS Help!

Hi! I'm going to be upgrading to an i5-7500 from my i3-7100 in October, and I have seen things about a possible bios update being needed

Could anybody please help me and tell me if I do need one?

Motherboard - H11OM -R

BIOS Version/Date :  American Megatrends Inc. 3401, 20/03/2017

The 7100 and 7500 are from the same gen, so it'll be fine. 

Instead of upgrading to a 7500, consider the 8100 and a new motherboard. It shouldn't cost much more, and you get the same CPU, and an upgrade path.

Yeah but I'm really new to pc building and I'm relatively new to pc building and stuff lol

I looked at the i3-8100 before, it just looks like a bit more work tbh

The new motherboard, I'd get too scared replacing it
