Xfinity hotspot range extender

I just want to know if i can plug something into the device I need to boost signal, to my "xfinitywifi." I want to legally connect to my ISP, and boost my signal on my device that is not a pc.

Are you trying to connect to your network, OR the free hotspot xfinity provides? Also, they do offer range extenders at least with their newest gateway.

I'm trying to connect to the free hotspot xfinity provides when I am away from home. For instance, I get a weak xfinity signal in the parking lot at work, but no signal inside work.

Extenders tend to need great signal to work kinda well. With weak signal your not going to have a good time. Im not even sure if the extender will connect to the Xfinity Hotspot as you have to sign in, or have the xfinity app on your device that auto signs in.
