Hi, I'm noticing a recurring issue with my computer. Well, two problems, but I'll keep this to just the one.
I've noticed that when I go to reboot my PC, sometimes it won't POST, sometimes it will.

Do you think this is a problem with the mobo?

SPECS

Mobo: Ecs A960M-M4

CPU: AMD FX-6100

it sounds like a issue with the bios. did you clear it and/or update it?

@whiteGloveReview

also I found that the fx8120 didn't like RAM speed higher than 2000Mhz

@whiteGloveReview

you double that number. so the DDR3 RAM speed is 1333

@whiteGloveReview

FX CPU's as a general rule (IMHO) I have found love to run RAM at 1600 but 1333 is a fall back. you may need to go into bios and configure it so it runs at 1600.

i haven't tweaked any of the numbers. it's remained as is since i've installed the motherboard.

i believe you. what you need to realize is RAM can run at slower speeds that it's rating speed. XMP setting it to 1600 may actually fix it and maybe not. It will not hurt it to try as it doesn't affect your CPU and worst thing that can happen is having to clear the bios

didn't think they were relevent.

PSU: EVGA 500W

Mem: ? 8GB ddr3

GPU: Zotac 1060

Everything is important, we need to know everything to give a good educated guess, especially when it comes to problems with Booting. There is nothing you can exclude. Harddrives and SSDs are also an issue that might cause this!

Anyway: Your PSU is garbage and should be replaced anyway, with something of good quality. Might be the issue here, as its rather low quality.
