Hello

I have a laptop that's 5years old, when I was running windows 7 I had driver and could run most new games to this day.

I downloaded Windows 8.1 2days ago but I struggle to find a windows 8.1 driver (64bit) for my radeon 4650 mobility.

The official amd site does not give me a driver, even with the automatic tool.

Please help,

I can not do anything till I find a driver can't even play minecraft.
I would go play games on my desktop but graphics card will arrive in  3weeks :(

As mgsstar suggested download the latest WIndows 7 driver and try installing in compatability mode for Windows 7.

This works really well for Windows Vista drivers on Windows 7, and often for XP to Vista and 7, so may work for Windows 8.

No guarentees, but its worth a shot :)

Some time ago I had a laptop, which was designed to run Windows 7. It was an Asus VX6, not very capable by any strech of the imagination, but good enough for casual games like NFS Most Wanted and Dota 2. One day I decided to install Windows 8 on it. After that the graphics card (NVidia ION) started not to function properly. At first it did not have a driver, but even with a driver installed it didn't seem to work, because all of the game, which I had before were lagging.

What I am trying to say here is that, some laptops are just not designed to run anything higher than Windows 7 and may be you should consider going back to it.
