So I have a problem that started recently, when I'm powering up my PC it runs for 15 seconds and then shuts down and powers up again. When the PC runs there are no leds, no display, no post. If I'm trying to run the PC without RAM, it does RAM POST beeps, and again shuts down after 15 seconds. I figured that the problem(or at least one of them) is in the ATX 4 pin connector that(at least what I think) is shorting the system for a reason, for example, if I'm powering up the PC without the ATX 4 pin connected, the PC powers up(again, no display, no post, no beeps with/without RAM) and doesn't shut down, but nothing happens more than that. I'm already looking for a new motherboard(unfortunately the motherboard is LGA1155, which is pretty much impossible to buy new in my country), but until I'll get it, maybe there are some weird solutions you guys can propose me to maybe try and fix the motherboard, feel free going extreme including soldering, and whatever you can think of, I don't see anything I have to lose here.

Here are the solutions I've tried so far with no results:

Different PSU(tried with 4 different PSU's, so that's not it), tried 3 different RAM sticks, disconnected everything for 24 hours, resetting the CMOS, checked all the cables/connections obviously, cleaned the PC from dust, checked that the cpu fan is connected well, and probably a lot more things I can't really remember now.

My specs are:

MSI B75MA-E33

i5 3470

Seasonic 500W(also tried Antec 750W)

I'm testing the components with only the motherboard, cpu and ram connected atm, so I don't think there's a reason to specify other specs.

Feel free to propose any solution that comes to your mind, please beware that solutions like "make sure everything is connected well" etc are pretty useless, as I already checked everything 200 times, but whatever comes to your mind. Thanks in advanced for the help :)

Do you mean that it keeps restarting and tuning off ?

Powering up - runs for 15+- seconds - shuts down - after 1-2 seconds powers up again.

and it keeps on doing that endlessly ?

Well, I never tried leaving that on like that for more than 15 minutes, but yeah I guess..

This sounds like CPU overheating.

Why would it be CPU overheating? I actually measured the temps recently, the cpu was around 48C on idle, and 60C on stress. That's good temps, so I don't think its related.

If you use the stock cooler maybe just fell off .

Did you plug the cpu fan cable to the connector beside the 4-pin connector ?

"please beware that solutions like "make sure everything is connected well" etc are pretty useless, as I already checked everything 200 times"

I have a zalman CNPS7000V-AL cpu fan, it sits well, and connected well.

The thermal paste is above the cpu cover, whats that has to do with how the cpu sits?

Try to replace the thermal paste.

And remove the CPU and put it again .

sometimes this solves problems .

Already done that, please, I don't want to be rude, but I asked not to advice with "make sure its connected" stuff, everything is connected well, I've built hundreads of computers in my life, I can sort of call myself "an expert", what I'm asking here is the uncommon, unconventional solutions I might try before throwing the motherboard to the thrash. The motherboard is almost guaranteed to be faulty. But maybe with soldering or some other weird solutions, might be able to be fixed. Again, not trying to be rude or anything, I appreciate you're trying help. Thanks.

try to heat up the solder behind the cpu power connector
