Weird computer issue

Hey everyone!

So my friend recently created a new computer, but ran into an issue.
The computer randomly freezes, turns off the screen and hangs (Caps lock doesn't respond ). The only resolution now is to reboot the machine.
Apparently all drivers have been updated, and every component is new.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Without knowing the hardware and whatnot, I can only offer you general advice.

 

(1) Test RAM with MemTest86+

(2) Might be a short in the case, pull out all stuff from inside case, set on a phonebook, and run it that way, see if the problem re-appears.

(3) Could not have enough power to run everything, so it's dropping out like that
