Hi all, so my i5-2500k burned, dont ask i fixed cooling. Im planning on getting cpu: cpu: AMD FX-6300 AM3 (No aio shield)
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Pro3
Ram : DDR3 12gb 1333MHz
Cpu cooler: Thermaltake Contac 21

Gpu: gtx 560

Storage 180gb ssd

 

So im usually playng games like LoL and tf2, program and make presentations

Will this be good?  Is the cpu good? 3.5ghz - 4.1ghz 6 cores

 

P.s. is the aio shield removed for the cooling or smth?

If you are just playing those games then sure. But the fx CPUs are not great. You do have abetter one.

You really shouldn't buy fx series CPUs now that much better ones have been released.
