When it comes to GPU upgrades, rarely should you ever force yourself to upgrade in anticipation of something you want.  The GPU situation will always be improving so you should be buying what you need, when you need it.  If you think your frame rates and game quality settings are where you want them, stick with your card.  When the games you want to play are too much for your 1050 Ti, upgrade it then.  You'll have the benefit of possibly improved prices (or newer gpu offerings) and you can narrow down your pick based on benchmarks of the game(s) to target the best bang/buck card at playing it/them.

As it seems you only had the budget availalbe for a 1050 when speccing your system, I'd say upgrading so soon would not be in your best interest.

If you still really want to, at least wait a few months to see what the price response is to the new RTX cards.

Make some compromises with eye candy with playing new games and wait for the RTX cards to be released, you might get a good deal on older generation but still power GPUs.

CPU: Sempron 2500+ / P4 2.8E / P4 2.6C / A64 x2 4000+ / E6420 / E8500 / i5-3470 / i7-3770
GPU: TNT2 M64 / Radeon 9000 / MX 440-SE / 7300GT / Radeon 4670 / GTS 250 / Radeon 7950 / 660 Ti
