Configuring Xine from the terminal

DirtyDane

I don't really know where to put this. I'm in the midst of a project at my college, and we are working with the Xine media player. ALL configuration of any software must be made from the terminal. Which would be fine, if i could figure out how to do so.

So my question boils down to, I would like to know where i can find the configuration files for Xine (or even OBS for that matter) so that I can properly progress with this. I've been searching for 2 days, but I'm probably just not looking for the right thing.

Thanks to anyone that can offer advice, bonus would be ideas for neat things I could make it do (don't tell me how to do it, but knowing that something is out there gives me something to look up and learn about)

Not sure about Xine, but I know for OBS on Linux there's a configuration directory at ~/.config/obs-studio (from Arch Linux).  Perhaps for Xine you could use the `find` command to search for the config files?

If I have to explain every detail, I won't talk to you.  If you answer a question with what can be found through 10 seconds of googling, you've contributed nothing, as I assure you I've already considered it.

What a world we would be living in if I had to post several paragraphs every time I ask a question.

Hadn't thought of that. Hopefully Xine is in the name, lol thanks for the information. I appreciate it!
