Might be time to update to a new platform (MB+CPU+RAM), that's the flagship processor of 7 years ago. You'll see great gains if you bite the bullet and upgrade.

I noticed you're running a 6core though. Are you making sure to use Core Affinity to set your gaming cores to the first 4 and your encoding cores to the last 2? It'll greatly improve in-game performance, trust me.

HardwareCanucks made a video on it here ->

*I'd have linked a Linus video but he hasn't touched the subject yet.

Are you already playing at 144 Hz? Is it fine? You might not need to upgrade.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I play destiny 2 at medium and get 100fps

Destiny is pretty CPU heavy, so you may want to consider an upgrade to ryzen since you're probably already overclocking as much as you can.

It still only uses like 80% I have a percentage

80% of each thread or total? Also, 80% is a bit much, getting around max usage
