Hi guys, first off I want to say the programs I will be using are the Adobe Suite (photoshop/inDesign/illustrator), video editing software, streaming some live gaming.

Just wanted to give some insight in case anyone needed it/wanted it.

Here is my current build with a filler motherboard, though it's still an open option for me.

I don't wish to spend 200 dollars or anything on the mobo unless I really have to.

Here are some that I found and am thinking about. I am VERY OPEN to any suggestions though! Even if it does go just a tad bit over my budget. I would like to stick to the neighborhood of $150 or less.

MSI - Z370 SLI PLUS ATX LGA1151 Motherboard - $129.99 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pjPzK8/msi-z370-sli-plus-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z370-sli-plus

Asus - ROG Strix Z370-H Gaming -  $158.99 - A bit over my budget, but like it's not too far off. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/9PtWGX/asus-strix-z370-h-gaming-atx-lga1151-motherboard-strix-z370-h-gaming?history_days=365

MSI - Z370 GAMING PLUS ATX - $109.89 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rXCrxr/msi-z370-gaming-plus-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z370-gaming-plus

EVGA - Z370 FTW ATX - $139.99 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HrHRsY/evga-z370-ftw-atx-lga1151-motherboard-134-ks-e377-kr

Asus - TUF Z370 Pro Gaming ATX - $149.99 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7gDzK8/asus-tuf-z370-pro-gaming-atx-lga1151-motherboard-tuf-z370-pro-gaming

ASRock - Z370 Extreme4 ATX - $158.89 - Again, not too much above my budget -  https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QNX2FT/asrock-z370-extreme4-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z370-extreme4

Thanks everyone!

i'd pick the FTW as long as you don't mind not having RGB. the gaming pro carbon is also at a good price after rebates IIRC.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

The z370 ftw is the step down from the classified K, as far as I'm aware, and I really like my new classified K. Good heat sinks, lots of features, clean bios.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Should be getting a Ryzen 7 8 core for streaming, will still be fine for everything else.

What's the full parts list and budget/country for the PC?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

The FTW looks like the most reasonable choice.

The Z370 H and TUF are overpriced pieces of crap, so not those. The Gaming Plus looks like it's using a low end 4+2 phase, so not good for overclocking an 8700K. The FTW should be better than the SLI Plus.

:)

Thanks for the breakdown. Do you have a better suggestion that I did not list?

What monitor resolution/refresh rate? if it's 1080p 60hz you don't need a 1070ti/1080

more cores is more better for streaming, and cheaper anyways.

Don't have the monitor yet, this is something I am building on the side. I REALLY appreciate the build you showed me, but I have purchased a few of the components and plan on sticking to something very similar to what I have.

The monitor I am thinking about it most likely going to be 144hz at a 1ms rate. That OR I might look for a 75 / 100 hz at a <4 ms rate.

Most monitors I'm seeing at 144hz/1ms are very high priced. Since this is a side project I am thinking of waiting until Black Friday/Cyber Monday to buy the monitor.
