Hi, I need some help, sorry in advance for the long post, as I'm trying to give as much info as possible.

Specs:
B450 aorus m motherboard

Ryzen 2700x using stock cooler

2x8 Trident z 3000 mhz

Zotac 1070ti (out of old computer)

Evga supernova 750 g3  platinum
 In win 301 case

256mb off brand ssd(from old computer)

1 tb Seagate mass storage hdd (from old computer)

Ok so built the computer on Saturday night. Everything went smoothly, installed everything into the new tower, plugged all the peripherals in. I bought 3 120 mm case fans, but as the mobo only has 2 non cpu fan headers I could only put 2 in at the time of the build. I installed them on the front side of the case. Turned the computer on. Windows 10 detected it was in a different computer and downloaded the new drivers, or doing whatever it does during the getting this pc ready screen. After a few minutes I was at the log in screen. Logged on and updated nvidia drivers, downloaded core temp to make sure temps were good. Tried to download the aorus app, where I was prompted with a download app center first error. Downloaded appcenter from gigabyte, tried updating it, where I would get a failed to install Visual 2015, proceeded to download update, where a 1316 user account already exists error would pop up. Searched reddit, found that the app from gigabytes site is ancient and there is a new version of appcenter. Downloaded new appcenter, with aorus app, bios and Siv. Idle temps on cpu per core temp were 43c.
Thought it was high for idle but not too terrible. Ran cinebench to put some stress on the cpu to check temps, high of 67 degrees before the test finished.
Ran it again just to make sure temps didnt rise higher, stayed in the mid to high 60s, fan automatically raised in speed to cool it down, and everything seemed to work fine. Told my wife to do a test stream at 1080 60, played universim while streaming at 1080 60, after about 10 minutes checked cpu temps at 78, core usage around 80-90 percent on all cores, pulled msi afterburner up to look at gpu temps, 50c. After about 5 more minutes cpu temp rose to 78-82 fluctuating back and forth. Told her to shut the stream down due to the high heat. Changed settings in obs to faster, and 1080 30 to lower the load on the CPU. Retest stream temps hanging around 70c still high, but I was planning on getting a splitter for the fan the next day. While streaming I was watching the temps, for a fraction of a second the temp read 197c. And turned back down to around 70 quicker than I could read the 3 numbers. I figured the software glitched or the temp probe is messed up, as I dont believe a a cpu could heat up and cool down over 100c in a third of a second(I could be wrong on this I'm not sure). So I stopped streaming, and watched the idle temps go back down to 40 again. Left it running for a bit and the temps never shot up again. Realizing I never set the profile on the ddr4, I restarted, went into the bios and changed the profile of the ram to be the 3000 mhz( there was a preloaded profile that I chose in the bios). Saved and booted os. Ran Cinebench again to see how large the improvement was. Turned the computer off through windows. And was done for the night.

The next morning I tried turning the pc on, mobo LEDs, fan leds, and cooler leds came on, but bus did not boot. I removed the gpu and plugged monitor through hdmi to mobo(as well as dvi just to make sure there wasnt a specific driver I needed for it) changed dim slots for the ram, used both sticks in slot 1 to make sure it wasnt a ram failure. Reset bios by pulling battery. Made sure cpu connections were tight, as well as mobo connectors. Unplugged on switch from board and shorted pins to turn on to make sure it wasnt a shorted power switch Figuring it was the cpu or mobo, I removed the mobo and cpu, pulled the cpu out inspected pins for grease or anything wrong with thermal paste. No noticeable signs of damage. Drove back to Microcenter and returned mobo as doa. While there I picked up another psu due to the 1+hr drive it takes to get there, and I was trying to cover all bases. Returned home, installed ps, cpu with new thermal paste and mobo, and the computer bots up.install 3rd fan  Check temps to make sure everything is ok. With 3rd fan idle temps around 34 degrees. Realize I need to set profile for ram and clicked restart through windows. Then boom, no boot, all leds on, keyboard lights come on, but bios wont load.

I'm just out of ideas besides sending the cpu back to Amd. Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm trying to find a bios speaker locally but to no avail

Tldw: built a pc for wife for streaming worked for an hour or 2 turned the pc off for the night and then bios wouldn't boot in the morning. Replaced mobo, and psu worked for 20 minutes, restarted computer and bios wouldn't boot.

Welcome to LTT forums !

I suggest that you reset the CMOS then update the bios.

Thank you! I appreciate it.

I reset the cmos by pulling the battery, and bios will not boot, no input on screen. Unless you can update the bios with no post? I'm not sure how to do that.

What profile setting are you using with the RAM? It seems both times you had these issues it had to do with your RAM.

It was a preloaded xmp profile that said 3000mhz. I never changed the profile on the second failure because after I restarted it to change it, the bios would not load.

Ok so without bios loading my only option to flash the bios is to buy a programmer and flash the mobo that way?

how it is not loading ?

did you have your GPU connected ?
Your PC cannot work without a GPU .

When I restarted the computer, I had no video output. So then I removed the gpu to try and isolate the issue. So if I cant do that, I'll try another gpu, sorry this is my first build in awhile, and a first with amd. So when the board says it has integrated graphics, it's only when an apu is installed? So I'll change to my old 970 and see if that works

Yes. the motherboard's video outputs and for APUs

Any GPU would work.

Ok thank you, sorry I assumed it was a no post due to me removing the gpu, and still not getting any video. I'll try that out, thank you!

I mean that you need an APU to use the motherboard's video outputs.

your PC won't work without a discrete GPU .

Yea, I didnt know that, I've only used Intel prior, and I guess that all the cpus that I've had, have  had integrated graphics.

Installed new gpu, same thing happens, no displa.I did find there are quick diagnose leds and the cpu light is on, and the dram light blinks. When taking the trident z ram out I saw there is an Intel badge on them. Apparently there was some compatibility issues with ram and the ryzen chips. And there is a specific set for ryzen, though from what I read it was more of a problem getting the correct clocks. Would that cause it? And would that also cause the cpu light to stay on? I dont think I got 2 bad boards.
