I have this newly built pc powered by my new seasonic focus gold 550fx psu, the problem is that this psu produces buzzing sound periodically. It's not that loud though but it's noticeable and kind of irritating. I sometimes hear this even when I'm just browsing the net. What should I do?

I'd say RMA it and see about getting a replacement under warranty. Sound = movement = point of failure.

Coil whine is normal, though it can sometimes be RMAd.

EVGA has no similarly priced PSUs that are as good as the Focus. They have a bunch of worse ones, though.

Yeah, it's coil whine. There's not much you can do about it besides trying to RMA, but even that's not a certain thing.

As said above, EVGA doesn't have anything as good as the Seasonic Focus G unit that's priced similarly.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION

Better?

The FX has better regulation, worse ripple, within spec hold up time and quieter up to ~440W.

A good PSU, but not sure if it's better.

FX also breaks spec under transient loads and shuts down under use with several GPUs,  the 650w+ variants are being fixed, but the 550w is getting shafted...
