Apparently it's already on Xbox, not on PS4

Yeah, if they cared, then their in game group chat wouldn't be complete garbage.

 

Plus, you'd only need Discord if you were on Crossplay would be their argument. Not that it has anything to do with streaming or anything else like that.

It is not usable on Xbox. It’s there just as an account linkage so people on discord can see what you are playing on Xbox. You can not see servers on console, unless you manage to jank it up in the web browser.

You can use it in the Browser. But I don't know if the PS4 allows browser and games....

But since its on Mobile I don't really see the point...

Its because Discord didn't bring it to the Sony Store. 

The XBox uses a crippled Windows 10 Version, so it might be a thing of like 10 Seconds to port it, maybe 5min.

Especially since both IIRC don't allow background tasks and only one primary task...

 

And Playstation already comes with a Voice Chat Option...
