Hi, ever since I'va gamed on my brothers G-Sync screen I've been wanting to upgrade my triple monitor setup,

I've been looking at the Acer Predator X34P and the Asus Swift PG348Q. But is there any ultrawide in the works or near future that has been teased I should know of? Since both are about 999 euro atm.

My requirements are as follows:

-atleast 34 inch and IPS

-3440x1440 21:9 or is there some new 32:9 with atleast 1440 pixels height?

-G-sync

-100hz to 120hz or there about

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB, CPU: Intel Core I7 4770K @ 4.3 GHz, CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2, GPU: Gigabyte GTX1070 G1 Gaming OC, RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 16GB, Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Gene, PSU: Corsair TX750-V2, Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D modded with TG sidepanel

The 200Hz monitors that are in the works.

Going to need a small loan of a million dollars though.

There were the new 200HZ ones OTW but they got delayed, so that leaves you with those for now.

Are you sure about blowing €1k on one of those older panels though, with that setup? 2gb vRAM is really low for 3440x. Might wanna consider a 38 incher Freesync 75 HZ for now, then get the new die shrunk AMD GPU. It'll be out a few months, heh.

Should just save a bunch of money with a free-sync display

though there should be better options than this one. Dunno if the german part picker is just very limited.

You can use an nvidia GPU on a free-sync display without issue, you just don't get adaptive sync, but you probably save like $400

Well if you've played with it you don't want anything else.

I have 2 free-sync displays and never even bother to enable it, especially at 144hz it's a lot less noticable

and you can just enable fast-sync/enhanced-sync if you can stay above your monitor's refresh rate to eliminate screen tearing.

Are you sure it's worth a potential 40-60% increase in the price of the monitor?

I've got the X34 and can happily recommend it.

But depending on your demands in graphical fidelity you should consider a second 1070 to get anywere near 100Hz on ultra settings in most AAA games.

But  since it's G-sync that doesn't matter too much.

Main system:

Enthoo Primo, X99 Rampage V, 16GB Ripjaws, i7 5820K, 500GB 970 EVO, 1TB 850 EVO, GTX 1080Ti SLI, EKWB custom Water cooling, Acer X34.

Obutto R3volution racing sim, Logitech G27 w/Nardi wheel and custom button plate, Logitech Z906 surround sound.

Home Theater:

Fractal Node 605, Asus Prime Z390A, i5 9600K, 16GB 3200MHz, 2 X 500GB EVO, GTX 1080, 4TB WD, Corsair Lapdog - K63 keyboard, Logitech MX Master 2S,

Samsung Q8F 65", Dreamscreen Cineseat powered recliner sofa.

Denon AVR-X4500H, Dynavoice Challenger surround: M-105, C5 XL, M-65. Klipsch R41-SA Atmos speakers. XTZ 12.16 sub, Dynabel Phobos 12" sub.

2nd system:

Fractal R5, Asus Z-97 A, 16GB 2000MHz, i7 4790K, 240GB 840 EVO, GTX 980Ti SLI, EKWB and Swiftech custom water cooling, Asus Swift PG278Q.

Laptop:

Acer Predator G9-793, i7-7700HQ, 16GB, GTX 1070, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 1080p display OC to 100Hz.

I'm cosidering to also upgrade when RTX finally launches but can't be bothered with pre-ordering.
