7 Days to Die + 1x PC + 1x VM + 1x Steam Link

I am about to use a Steam Link to connect to a VM that I am running on my rig.

Enabling a thumb-monkey friend of mine to try some PC gaming.

Hopefully, it will all go smoothly. Has anyone else done this and what hurdles did you hit / solve?

If you have fast internet then steam link is fine.

The biggest hurdle for me was the video compression artifacts(imagine watching a 1080p youtube video), but that was because i used slow wifi.

Thanks. I think the router in the loop is a gigabit one and I am using Ethernet. I think the screen scales okay if that is necessary but I hope not as I do want to impress them into getting a PC rather than the next generation of console.
