Booting issue

Go to solution Solved by Tibon,

Yes it seems related to the fast booting feature of win 10, by default shutdown make the system hibernate, might be something corrupted in the hibernation files.

I got and AsRock B450M Pro4 and when freshly plugged in i cannot boot. I do not get any beeps but it gets to the boot screen with AsRock logo and the messages to press F2/del to go bios, f11 to boot ... etc.

Pressing any of these options doesn't work. Seems frozen. I had to leave to get some things to the store and about 15-20 minutes later it was still frozen. If i press reboot it works perfectly.

Now it's been a week and every time i boot from powered down mode it frozen so what i do is power it up, wait 2 seconds and immediately press reboot and boom it boot fine.

Any idea what might be the problem ?

Just tried and it did nothing. But i noticed that if it power down before windows has the time to boot it does startup fine at first boot. So i guessed it might be that by default windows 10 doesn't shutdown the PC when you click shutdown. So i went and change the setting to do a real shutdown and now it boots every time but the mouse and keyboard are buggy in the login screen. I must be a windows issue. The install is brand new from last Monday and all i got installed are 2 games, chrome, video card driver and visual studio. It is still perfectly clean.
