Cpu pin

I have a msi z370 pc pro mobo and was about to install the i7 8700k when I noticed this pin shined more out of the other pins. It is slightly misaligned. Is this normal or safe? At the moment I am thinking of going to get a replacement but wanted some opinions beforehand.

That's not normal and it should be aligned with the other pins. If you can get a hassle free replacement, do that. It's otherwise not that bad and pretty easy to realign by anyone with a knife and good hand-eye coordination.
