Wifi cutting out

Hi,

 

Just trying to determine whats causing my wifi to cut out. I'm not sure if I've got to many wireless devices connect or a type of interference.

 

Please any help on this would be great.

 

I'm currently using the follow:

 

Huawei HG659 modem

 

Netgear EX6150 AC1200 wifi range Extender

 

My current devices connect via wifi:

 

2 Smart Phones

 

1 Tablet

 

Nvidia Shield 

 

2 Google homes

Do all devices drop simultaniously from wifi or just the one you work with at that time

they all drop out for 5 to 10 secs then resolves. So far Ive determined its the range extender.

Your extender might be dead, is it a fresh new one? I had the issue like a month ago that my modem would have lagspikes when connected over wlan every like 30 mins or so for 10 seconds and then go back to normal. Changed the modem and indeed problem solved, couldnt really figure out what the issue was, might have been something gone bad after not even a year or so.

its only 1 year old. Im debating whether to get a router instead of a new extender.
