Well its a good deal for the amount of gbs, but comes with a lot of sketch. OCZ just filed for bankruptcy a month ago and Toshiba invested 35mil into the company, so probably wont see too much of the OCZ printed anymore. Not sure if Toshiba will be repairing/replacing new orders, however newegg does have a good return rep. I personally dont trust refurbished products, way too many DOAs so without a long warranty I wouldnt of bought this SSD. Bought a 2 year extended plan for 10$ lol. So $60 total for a 100gb ssd with 2yr warranty not a bad deal me thinks...if OCZ doesnt fall off the earth.

Oh man , thank you so much for replying. Gonna cancel that newegg order, looking at  that Kingston SSD now definitely a lot better/safer. Just looking for another SSD to solely put a few games on and not spend too much money. Thanks again

Amazon.ca does but I don't believe Amazon.com does. Or at least they don't give as good of deals, factoring shipping in and everything.

When I lived closer to the border I'd make a trip down once a month for business, so I'd just get all my stuff shipped to a US address and pick it up.
No can do for another year or so now.

I can clarify I have bought the refurbished 240gb vertex 2 from newegg works fine (not in my main rig) it is very slow faster then hdds but as for an ssd it's slow I mean what could U expect its sata 2

Late, but a remarkably bad deal. For reference, I bought a Kingston SSDNow V300 with a 120 GB capacity for $60. This is a Vertex 2 SSD with only 100 GB, and it's refurbished. Just pay a little more for some more capacity and performance. 120 GB SSDs are actually pretty cheap now.
