As the title says - looking for a min spec pc for my brother. He only plays football manager - rocket league and pubg. I have a spare gfx card which is the R9 380 4gb. I think it should work? He is looking for a cpu - motherboard and ram to work with the card. If the card is able to run the game that is. He just wants a min-spec to play said games. As cheap as possible. Monitor is a 1980x1080. At most - I would say he is willing to spend 300-400 - at most maybe 500..

If all he needs is a CPU, motherboard, and RAM, get this:

You can save a bit on the motherboard and RAM if you'd like.

Ill go ahead and ask him - might be fine if this will be better and my gpu will work with it x)

Edit: Seems it costs too much..

How about the formula of buying an off lease OEM computer like a dell or HP and adding in a video card and a beefier PSU?

That might be a cheaper option for you, I guess?

CPU: Sempron 2500+ / P4 2.8E / P4 2.6C / A64 x2 4000+ / E6420 / E8500 / i5-3470 / i7-3770
GPU: TNT2 M64 / Radeon 9000 / MX 440-SE / 7300GT / Radeon 4670 / GTS 250 / Radeon 7950 / 660 Ti

Yea that true there are some pretty decent used OEM machines out there for dirty cheap. Get lucky with a 4 ocre 8 gig system and buy a cheap but reliable powersupply and youre set. When companies get a mass of new rigs they sell their old one for dirt cheap so you could get lucky.
