My google chrome shows thhat the cerificate for google is fraudulent. Its been like this for a few weeks now and im tired of using ie. ive reset chrome, ran ccleaner (which i know probably wont do anything but it was worth a try) and ran norton deluxe but its still there, please can someone tell me a way to try sort this out. Thank you!

That's strange. Could mean a virus or someone screwing with your internet. Try another PC on the same network and if it works then you have something norton missed (probably). If not then call your isp.

One thing I just thought of- have you changed your date/time settings recently? That can screw with certs.

It works on anything else but comes up with a weird backgroung and font which i foind using the inspect element feature when it used to work as shown in the pictures (sorry for the bad quality). It starts from do not remove and has afew lines. The background says webinternetsecurity.com but it clearlt isn’t anything from a trustable security company. I’ll try checking the time and date or another pc (but i dont have one available right now). Some websites work if i type in the full url like amazon.co.uk or ebay.co.uk

I've checked and my date and time are all correct. Is there a way to change the certificate from fraudulent to whatever it should be, otherwise i'm stuck using the Norton safe search on google chrome
