i have a 1600x, its going real strong

you are comparing an older cpu. only $30 cheaper.

i say just buy 2600.

i'm sure the 1600 will be good for another 5 years, but if you can have the newer one, why not?

1600 doing perfectly fine over here. I love my 6 cores. You could get either one, based on which price appeals to you the most.
