Hey guys, this is my second post. Just asking if anyone has some suggestions to make this build any more solid. The price range pretty much needs to stay the same, give or take 20 bucks a piece per part.

I know the 1070ti ftw2 is just over 100 bucks less than the price of a 1080, but I actually got it for 415, not the listed 489.

So, suggest away my friends!

I was also thinking of adding water cooling for around the neighborhood for 90-120 bucks? I was thinking Corsair. Anyone can vouch for their water cooling?

honestly the difference is minimal. If you read the jonnyguru g3 review, both the g2 and g3 are perfectly good. Unless you overdraw that PSU with SLI 1080 tis OC 2ghz, you are fine.

I've had good success (2 of them on different machines) with Corsair AIOs.

Data suggests the G3 is louder than G2, RMx, or Focus Gold Plus.

@DVA, I'd stick with the Dark Rock Pro 4 unless you want to push the overclocking.

I'd suggest SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold or Corsair RM650x (2018) instead of the G3.

jonnyguru does not do sound tests.

The 550W G2 got a perfect 10. Scoring has changed a bit over time so one needs to be careful doing straight up comparisons.

https://uk.hardware.info/product/376351/evga-supernova-g3-650w/testresults see noise tests for 100W, 300W and 500W draw near the bottom. https://uk.hardware.info/category/21/power-supplies/testresults?products[]=376351&specId=10456&tcId=307 compares a number of different models at 300W load.
