Hello,

Am trying to build a new PC and not sure with all these new technologies and frankly confused -.- so I would welcome any solid input, I want the best of the best for gaming mainly and some home video editing and photo editing and light work.

- Budget is open :) like go crazy

- I have x34 Predator going to upgrade it once the new 200mhz 35" inch models hit the market and would like to have 2 dual monitors of that

- I have the corsair k90 and Logitech g903 for peripherals

I need to focus on building the main machine which is case, processor, motherboard, ram 128gb rgb ddr4, geforce rtx 2080 i guess

need to have raid 0 on 4 nvme m.2 SSD of Samsung 970 pro 512gb or so. that is the general idea, i am contused on processor and motherboard mainly, AMD or Intel. and I want the best and something that will last for next 4 years at least.

Thanks for feedback.

Raid 0 is pointless in this use case and just makes the system more fragile.

128GB of memory is pointless and most of it will likely not be used.

Any aesthetic preferences? E.g. certain color scheme/look, RGB

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Here's a crazy small incredibly stacked PC.

Note: I didn't go crazy with super high speed RAM for the purpose of stability.

I doubt you would notice any performance difference over running a single NVMe SSD. Just stick with a single 1TB SSD imo.

The i9 9900K would be a good option for the cpu when it releases as it should be faster than the 8700K with 2 extra cores. Some rumours that it might be pushed back to 2019 though.

Also why would you need dual 200Hz monitors ? I assume you are just gaming on one of them ?

With the described usage better performance of RAID 0 NVMe drives would not be noticeable.
