If you didn't already know the differences between home and pro, then that means you don't need any of the extra features that pro has.

There's no point in wasting more money on pro.

Just pick up a Win home key from Kinguin or a different keysite. Unless you really dont want ak OEM liscence

Also there are very few people who should spring for a PRO liscence. You should just get the regular version

Okk any guess abt win home retail key price

Windows 10 Home on ebay (germany) ~5€.

Windows 10 Pro on ebay (germany) ~3€.

So there is no reason NOT to buy Windows 10 Pro

Thats 2€ saved.  A key on kinguin or reddit is about 25$.

A retail key is about 100$ (non-OEM).

Note that Kinguin is pretty reputable seller of keys, (even though they are on the grey market)

The only reason to get a Pro key is if you need those extra few features (very few do) or have more than 128GB of RAM (which 99% of people dont have)

If you want to spend more money for a limited version ofc do it.

And kinguin is definitely NOT a "pretty reputable" seller of keys.

If it works your are fine but if not (I had the problem twice) than you lost your money because the support will not answer you at all.

"Limited" if you look up the difference between them you understand why one is market with "pro". Unlike most "pro" products it is actually marketed towards the "PRO" market where the small extra feature matter. The Home version is for regular consumers. And the things missing from the Home version is not something you will be missing as a regular consumer

Kinguin is "pretty reputable", certainly not the best way to obtain a key, but for the price you pay its not bad. You could also go through reddit and get a key there.

Edit: when working with the grey market everything is not 100% all the time

Ive got very few details about how to get a key through reddit as ive not looked into it.

https://www.kinguin.net is a website that sells keys to various games and Programs. They also sell key (distributes keys) to Windows.

Rememver that this is the grey market, you could get unlucky and end up with a bad key

Note: these are OEM keys and will become invalid once you change the mobo

If I buy an oem key and register it with my microsoft account then can it get saved to account so if in future I change my hardware then I can get my windows activated

OEM keys tie themselves to the motherboard and will deactivate once you swap out the motherboard. A regular key will continue to work after swapping the motherboard, you just have to tell windows to transfer the key (most of the time its effortless).

Regardles of Key type the key will eventually be rendered in-active after a set number of hardware changes (i have no idea how many, though regular consumers will rarely run into it)
