RAM Compatability Help!

Hey!

 

I'm looking to purchase this RAM for my HP DL360 Generation 5.

 

The RAM that is currently in it is a mix between HP and Hynix memory (PC2-5300F-555-11).

Should I come across any issues with installing the Samsung memory???

You don't really fill me with confidence saying "if it run, then it is compatible."

I am seeking a simple answer that doesn't contradict itself.

 

I am only asking so that if I do purchase it, it isn't a waste of money an it works as it should.

just match the type of the memory.

if you have a ECC memory, then buy a ECC memory, not a regular one.

as for the manufacture, you can mix and match modules from different brand.

ask the seller for return policy, if it not compatible.

sellers usually give this policy 7 days after delivered.

from my experience i never had any issue with different memory brands.
