Minecraft issue

I am working with my brothers pc and he is having issues with minecraft. He as an Igpu on his amd cpu it is an hp prebuilt. He gets an error "Lack of updated graphics drivers" He has the latest. The issues started when I upgraded him to 8.1 from windows 7. I have tried all of the drivers I can get and nothing. Please help. I have tried everything I can think of.

hp cheap mobo

Athlon II 630 @ 2.8 ghz (stock and stock cooler)

this is probably the problem mine-craft still thinks it on 7 and not 8.  uninstall and reinstall java the same with MC and try again

I always recomend a clean install whenever upgrading to a new OS.

 

Also try re-installing java: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Go ahead and install both the 32 and 64 bit versions.

I did a re install of java and still getting the error. Any other ideas?

Post a screen shot of exactly what you are seeing when trying to run minecraft.
