Hello lovely LTT Communty.

Today I installed my windows fresh because after I installed my new m.2 and migrated windows to it my PC kept restarting it self at random times.

After I installed windows freshly I get some "underscores" while booting into windows(please check the video so you understand).

I hope someone can help me to fix this.

Does it happen every time? If you installed windows fresh, it would likely be installing a bunch of spywa...err...updates.

It could be hardware initializing...If you just do a reboot does it also show up? If not, when you installed your new SSD, is that the first boot device selected in the BIOS?

Yes just tested it now and it happens also when I just select restart. Yes my new ssd is the first device selected in bios.

You could try rebuilding the BCD? Weird it would be a problem on a fresh install so this might be a stretch....also it does boot so the BCD may be fine.

You can get to advanced startup options from settings, update & security, recovery.

Just did that and everything went perfect without issues. But the "Underscore" is still there on startup ?

Hmm weird that this would happen on fresh installation. Maybe  the MBR? I know a while back I had this issue and it had something to do with that.Let me see if I can find the link I used to fix it.It's sitting somewhere in my email

It's for Windows 7 in this case but the commands should still be the same.Hopefully it gets your issue sorted out.
