I’ve been scratching my head on this one for a few hours now with no progress so I thought I’d see if anyone here could help. I currently have two 980ti’s in SLI and up until a few days ago they worked great with zero problems. Then I transported my computer from home to college, I transported the entire computer in a padded box to assure it remained I damaged. I set up my pc and began to game and was noticing some strange performance things so I thought I’d run some benchmarks to see what was up and I noticed only one card was registering. I opened up my pc to find out what was wrong and come to find out my SLI bridge was dislodged. I powered down and reconnected the bridge and have had no luck. The top card works fine and the bottom card powers up like it’s fine but the computer doesn’t see it, although if I go into device manage and show hidden devices then it list both cards. I also just tried running the bottom card in the top slot by itself so I know the card is fine.

Did you remove both GPUs before transporting the computer?

Did you reinstall the drivers then?

I did not

You damaged your PCIe slot then.

You're going to need to replace the motherboard.

Never transport a computer with GPUs installed.
