without knowing the exact model if hard to be 100% certain. but in the manual for the Acoustimass 5 speakers it says they are compatible with amps rated from 4-8 ohms and 10 to 100 watts. the cambridge audio a1 is 4-8 ohms and 25 watts per channel so i don't see any issues using them together. just start them low and slowly ramp up the volume, if there are any issues you should hear it before you do any damage.
