Is my Galax 1070ti enough?

Should I get a rtx 2070 or stay with my 1070ti 8gb card? I'm hoping the card can hold out on 1440p for the next 3yrs,

Will it be able?

I have a GTX 1080 8GB, the performance of which is slightly more than yours, but is close enough for comparison. I'm personally keeping mine because it rips through everything at ultra 1440p. 8GB VRAM will be plenty for the next 3 years @ 1440p. As long as your happy possibly dialing down settings to medium-high graphics in 3 years time to get over 60pfs (this is inevitable), I would keep it.

OK thanks well I can save me some money then. Anyways the raid tracing isn't as important as my fps
