Samsung 970 evo help

I have recently bought a Samsung 970 evo 500gb, and have cloned windows on to it, however when i set it as the boot drive it says that an operating system was not found. Im using an MSI z370-A-PRO Can anyone help? Thanks.

What software did u use to clone it?
I cloned mine using Samsung Migration Software and it works like wonder.


If you're using other softwares, make sure u copied the recovery and also the UEFI partition.

What id recommend u to do is just boot from the older storage, install samsung migration tool,  clone the drive, remove the older storage and boot.

Yeah thats what i have started to do, im not gonna clone it yet tho I'll do it over night. Thanks for your help. Hopefully it works. :)

Ok so i thought it was gonna take longer but i have done it now, clone it i mean. I have also gone into the Bios and changed the boot priority to the SSD and entered the boot menu and selected the SSD as well but i get the same message.  " no operating system was found try disconnecting all other drives that dont contain the OS. Would formating the HDD that originally had the OS on help at all?
