Yeah gotcha mate. Really appreciate your help. After much thinking & researching i guess I'll go for Ryzen 3 1300x + Asus Prime B350m-k + Zotac GTX 1050ti mini 4gb. An year later I'll upgrade to a Ryzen 5.

I guess this motherboard is good right?

That one definitely doesn't have any VRM heatsinks. Do you need a micro ATX board ? What case do you have ?

hey thats a good idea. I'm going for a 1200 personally and I don't really see that much of a difference in games on average between ryzen 3, 5 and 7. Better CPU allows for better GPUs but games are GPU (textures, rendering etc)/SSD (for load times) bound.

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

That motherboard is my max budget for a motherboard. I've an ATX Case, it's from an Indian brand : Circle Cc830

And i want a b350 mobo because i might overclock the 1300x. & the good motherboards like asrock b350m pro or MSI b350m pro vdh aren't available on any site here.

I'm buying from this site, it has the best rates.

https://www.primeabgb.com/

And if you might check out the site, thanks for that, my budget is like 6.8k Rs. The mobo i mentioned is of that price too. Here in India it's hard to get pc components for fair price & most of the times the good ones are out of stock.

Update : I might try real hard & get the MSI B350M Bazooka Motherboard, i read its reviews & it's VRM are nice & overall it's a good cheap motherboard, although it ain't cheap for me lol.

Yeah right, & building a ryzen 3 build will give you an upgrade path too. Plus you seem to be much gaming oriented than editing so the cpu will just be fine, if you get a 1050ti or a better gpu then you are good to go. I just have basic knowledge of pc stuff but I'm learning hahaha. Hope you build your pc soon :)

I'm getting there slowly. Hopefully I can get it done by Christmas or something.

I don't know about the MSI Bazooka. The MSI Tomahawk is supposedly pretty decent. In any case you should maybe try and save up a bit more money and buy a decent board from the start, otherwise you will find yourself having problems down the road, especially if you ever go with a 6 or 8 core Ryzen cpu.

Have a watch of this video from Buildzoid who goes over the B450 chipset in good detail and talks about VRM's etc.

Oh, yeah the Tomahawks is really decent but unfortunately here in India it's either very expensive or not available most times. And as for the Bazooka, it's a good motherboard, has nice features & i read some nice reviews on the motherboard, overall seems positive.

And huge thanks for all your help & heads up for this motherboard knowledge, will surely watch the video, much needed hahaha.

I'm building my first pc, sold my crappy pc & ps3 about 2 years ago & bought a Psu, Ram stick, Cabinet, HDD, Keyboard & Mouse.
Now in a week or so I'll be buying the rest of the parts i.e CPU, GPU & Mobo.
I want some help regarding the system I'm building, whether it'll be future proof, okay for gaming, good for photo /video editing & I'm curious whether the motherboard choice is good or not, it's a cheap motherboard but the good ones in budget aren't available & alternative mobo are expensive.
My budget for cpu, mobo & gpu is total around 26,000 Rs. (366$)

System config :
Amd Ryzen 5 1600
ASUS EX-A320M-GAMING Motherboard
Wd Blue 1tb 7200 rpm
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gd DDR4 2400 mhz Ram.
Zotac Gt 1030 2gb GDDR5
Corsair VS450 PSU

I pretty much don't plan to OC, but still I'm not sure whether the mobo is good or not, there is a cheaper choice Asus Prime A320m - k & a somewhat expensive Asus Prime B350m-A which will make my budget slightly increase.

Really appreciate who helps.
Thank you.

Hey man, i really appreciate your help. But Amazon India has one of the worst prices for computer components. & that gigabyte X370 mobo is worth almost 10k on Amazon.

I've researched every good site of sellers & have found the Ryzen 3 + MSI B450M Bazooka Plus Motherboard + Zotac Gtx 1050ti Mini 4gb GDDR5. This exceeds my budget by a little margin but this is the best cheap setup. As for the ram & rest of the parts i bought them already 2 years ago.

I don't know if that GT 1030 is going to hold up in video editing. I'd get a better GPU, go used if you have to. Don't know too much about motherboards, the CPU seems a little overkill for the GPU and the ram might limit the CPU a bit.

Other than that it looks alright (although I would personally get an SSD)

I'd personally recommend the GTX 1050 or 1050ti both are  amazing I'm using it rn and with medium to high settings on Fortnite I'm getting around 60-100 frames

Yeah I'm including that in my Ryzen 3 build. Thanks for the heads up
