Bottleneck Question

my specs are as follows

• i5-8600k 6 cores, 6 threads at 3.6 GHz
• EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC2 GAMING  11GB
• monitor runs at 1920x1080 144Hz
• Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200 (if ram in anyway affects this)

When playing WarThunder with everything on max settings at 1920x1080 144Hz except for SSAA x4 (super-sampling Anti-Aliasing) which was turned off. I noticed that my GPU caps off at a temp of 44 Celsius, and, my GPU usage never goes above 55%. When I turn SSAA on the temp stays nearly the same but the usage jumps to 98%. So, is this just a case of the game not being intensive enough for full usage (until SSAA is turned on) or is something else going on. Question may be stupid or obvious but I was just curious, thanks in advance. (mind you that WarThunder is probably optimized for potato computers to be able to run it)

Super sampling definitely takes a toll on your computer. I'm fairly certain that it's just pretty well optimized and that as long as your framerates are good I wouldn't worry about it

@Streetguru too early in the morning to check low settings fps, but i will say that on high without SSAA and v-sync off I get on average 250-300 fps

Then what does it matter that it's not using all of your CPU or GPU?

@Streetguru It doesn't really matter, I was just wondering if something was stopping me from getting more, but through some more research I have determined that too not be true.
