So, effectively I’m making a new build, I’ll be migrating over my RAM, SSD and GPU to the new build but it’s a new case, Mobo, PSU, CPU, Cooler etc. the one thing about this build that is the only thing I haven’t done before, and didn’t really consider, is that I’m moving my boot drive and everything from a Intel based system to an AME Ryzen based system. Can I just slap my boot dive into the new build and have it all auto detect and make the proper changes drivers wise or am I gonna have problems? Currently the boot drive is the only drive (a Samsung SSD) so the OS isn’t separate from everything else I have.

You could do that. But it'd be better to just do a clean install of windows to avoid problems, you can still keep all your files anyway.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

Okay, I’ve not had to do that before (everything I’ve ever built had been Intel based to a simple transition always worked) but I assume I just make a bootable thumbdrive, take the product code from my old case and then install from that and it’ll proceed but retain all my stuff otherwise?

yep it will wipe the drive you install onto. Id unplug all other drives.
