So when my mother in law's bar wants to play music without a dj, they hook up her microsoft surface to a docking (usb, hdmi and utp) which is connected to a big touchscreen where they select the music and the surround.

But she can't use her surface for other things like doing orders, paying bills at the same time so she wants a cheap solution that she can hook up to the same cables the dock from the surface are connected too.

The person who set it all up suggests a €600 laptop to hook up but that's not a cheap solution.

So all the tunify player needs is a

  • browser like chrome
  • some ram to run it smoothly
  • utp port
  • hdmi port
  • usb port

which led me to the conclusion of getting one of these Pipo x9s which is like €160 + €6shipping or so but would a raspberry pi with chromium work too?
