hi

i got a small issue with my pc

first off i had this setup:

fx6350

16GB DDR3

HD7950

Kingston v300 120GB

and some HDD's.

then afterwards i bought my new setup

i5 8600k

16GB ddr4

Intel optane

samsung 240gb ssd m.2

gtx 1060.

i did migrate my OS over instead of fresh install due to many things setup in this current windows 10.

so i removed everything AMD related and got a fully working system BUT here is the catch

whenever i start my system my resolution is 1024 * 768 and after a couple of seconds i does change back to 1080 and then a minute later it flickers agian and then its all fine, and runs as smooth as it can be it does add extra boot time even though it a fast booting pc. is there a way to easy fix this? am i missing something? and as a reminder Reinstalling Windows ISNT a option for me

THANKS in advance if anyone is willing to help

(sorry for the bad english)

Use DDU to delete both AMD and NVIDIA drivers and reinstall NVIDIA drivers. As it seems it's conflicting with something.

You're going to have to clean install windows eventually when a windows update corrupts your OS because you migrated it.

So start backing up your data.

You always need to clean install when switching motherboards.
