pc black screen

So I woke up this morning went to turn on my computer and got a "overvolt detected  in usb device pc will shut off in fifteen minutes" error. I unpluged all usb devices and it did boot but after the standerd startup it goes to a black screen.

 

anyone have any idea whats going on ?

Unplug your computer from the wall, then pull CMOS battery, then wait 30 seconds and put CMOS battery back in and see if that fixes it. Make sure nothing is connected to the USB during all of this.

Nope still black screen and it's not the gpu either

Can you get into the BIOS?

I can although reseting bios does nothing I never overclocked the cpu (wouldn go past 4.0 ghz anyway)

Ok you have a multi Bios switch, you should try to flip it over to the B switch. You can find more info in your manual.

I thought of that I'll try it when I get home

Help please ? I can only use one of the bios settings and thats out of date (kinda nervous to update that one)
