So I'm looking to get a new cpu cooler, not got much to spend so I was looking at the arctic freezer 33 and freezer 13 but I'm not sure which one is best, so I need some help there, or a suggestion of a different cooler at a similar price. Btw I have and i7 4770k. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

I recommend the Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One. The regular Freezer 33 and the Freezer 13 aren't really appropriate options when the eSports 33 exists.

There's also a 33 eSports Edition that is a push-pull cooler.

What case and ram are you using? Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

Are you getting a new cooler to oc or just to lower noise?

I have a generic full size case, idk what it is, I have two sticks of corsair vengance ram, I was looking on amazon, and I am in the UK, my budget is about £40 so $50. I'm getting a new cooler for noise and because I have noticed that the cpu is getting a bit toasty. Thanks

Is there any branding on the case? If you're not sure what it is, can you post some photos of it?

What cooler are you currently using and what are your temps?

I managed to find the case its a, AvP Galaxy III Mid Tower case, the one with the two blue leds on the front. Currently I'm using the stock intel cooler and it is getting very hot, I haven't done any overclocking, so thats at stock.

What are your temps? Have you tried undervolting?

well in bf1 it stays at about 97 celsius, I haven't tried underclocking

Not underclocking but undervolting. By default, the core voltage is left at Auto and can use more voltage than necessary when can cause high temps. Try 1.2v and testing for stability before incrementally lowering it and testing some more.

That CPU shouldn't have voltage issues, mine goes up to 1.27V under stress while set to auto. But its i7 on CPU heavy game.

That bling blinged medieval case is about as bad for cooling as Intel's stock HSF.

Hope you're not having high power consumption GPU in there.

With barely room for 12cm rear fan that case certainly don't have too room for highest CPU heatsinks.

Though Cryorig H7's 145mm height should be small enough.

You could roughly estimate with plastic ruler how much room you have.
