Optimal GPU Radiator Position

very common misconception.
An easy way to think of how it works is this. The weight of the water on one side is equivalent to the weight on the other, as such you do not needloads of power to 'push' the water up as the flow going 'down' effecivly pulls and pushes on the water going 'up' with the same force. The pump there for is effectivly pumping water as if it as on a level surface, the pressure required is only that neccesery to deal with flow resriction of the tubing, block and rad.
Now if the water source was at the bottom, the pump next to it, and the outflow up high, with no return. THEN you need good head pressure to get the water up.
I hope that helps explain it, im not that great at explaining these kinda things ![]()
