is it worth buying?

Gamer Ultra Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 1400 - 8GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 580 - 1TB Hard Drive - Black. Comes with Keyboard and Mouse as well. whether or not it is worth getting depends on 2 things;  number 1 is how high the price gets, number 2 is did they use a a good psu or not. Often times prebuilts cheap out on psu's.

 

you could build a comparable system brand  new for about 800$, you would want to add a ssd so say 60$ more  in total with an ssd this system is more like 860$ i added that to my price because you would want to add an ssd to the build and since it is used i wouldn't pay more than say 400$

@inolle is correct i would think you should check if it has a 500w psu as the pc will do good  for school work but dont think you will game of very high setting 1080p on AAA games 

and i would not pay any more than 300$ for it

As to its gaming performance it should do pretty good so long as your realistic about your expectations. The ryzen 1400 is a plenty capable cpu and the rx580 is comparable to the 1060, you wont be maxing brand new AAA titles but you should easily pull off 60+fps in modern games in medium settings
