Hello! I'm interested in building a computer, and want to put LL140 and LL120 fans and Corsair Light Strips in my case, but I'm confused on what I need to run the fans, and this being my first PC I build I have no idea what to expect. I want to have 5 fans in total. 2 140s on the front and 2 on the top, and 1 120 on the back. What is the difference between the Corsair Node PRO and the Commander PRO? Do I need both to run the RGB fans and control them with Corsair iCue or whatever software?  Please feel free to reply with any and all questions, and thanks for all the help!

If your referring to the lighting node pro that is only for RGB control while using a RGB hub for the fans. If you want to control the fans also within the Corsair Software you will want to have the commander pro which has the lighting node pro built in including a fan controller with temp probes.

The packs of fans come with a lighting node pro.

So to make sure I understand he Node Pro is built into the Commander Pro and if I want to control RGB and Fan speeds and everything in software, I only need the Commander Pro.
