LoL Ping Spikes

My normal ping for LoL is like 80-90 but sometimes it can spike from 200-1400. I find this odd because no one in my household are downloading major files. I'd usually have to reset my router but sometimes it's unreliable. Thoughts?

in my opinion, its nothing.

I usually have a ping of anywhere from 100-150, and its not uncommon to see spikes of 4000+. Maybe that's just because i live in Idaho, but i wouldn't worry too much about it.

I was getting extreme lag the other night at only 60 ping. A lot of other people were too though =\ Lately my ping as been jumping in between 80-150 which for me at least is pretty high considering my average ping is like 30.

I have been having the same ping spike issue as well but in other games, was doing tests and noticed that my motherboards nic adapter seems to have an issue with packet loss, was doing ping tests in our home network I would ping my file server and notice random drops and also high ping spike 200-1200ms ish from 1ms.

I have not found any software or anything which could be causing it, I may try at some stage to reformat and then if that doesnt work perhaps replace my MB since I was thinking about doing it anyway at some stage.

Oh yea also i recommend everyone who plays LoL to uninstall the program called Pando Media Booster. That thing is horse sh*t.

I live in Idaho and I usually get 55-65 ms. its probably your ISP.
