Does Windows Gamemode include the Notifications assist?

I want to disable gamemode because it is screwing over some stuff on my pc but i want to keep the thing wich hides the notifications from the game until the game is stopped

It is very hard to test out so i wanted to ask someone who may have knowledge about that
