If you want to buy a new gpu just wait to benchmarks on september

general rule of thumb, if you don't have a card now AND can't wait, buy now, if you are just looking to upgrade, wait.

 

For buying now i've seen a 1060 on clearance for as low as 190, 1070 for 250, and 1070 ti for 300.

Get a 1080 used you can get them for £350 used over here before the likely imminent price drops.
