i downloaded the latest bios for my mobo from msi, and I didn't do any thing after that. I don't want to screw this up.What do I do next?

Main pc

CPU: AMD RYZEN 2200G || GPU: EVGA GTX 780 || PSU: EVGA 500W  ||  MOBO: MSI B350M MORTAR ||

RAM: BALLISTIX SPORT LT 12GB (4X3) DDR4 3133 MHz ||  CPU COOLER: AMD WRAITH STEALTH || SSD: SILICON POWER S55 120GB (BOOT) ||

HDD: WESTERN DIGITAL 500GB BLUE 7.2K RPM, 200GB random Toshiba HDD || CASE: Thermaltake View 28 ||

Ive done a BIOS update on 2 different MSI boards, their tool is pretty easy to use.  Follow their directions and you are pretty good to go.  the one board i have even had a windows based BIOS updater that automagically grabs the latest from the internet.  IDK how much i trust that though.

I just read  your sig.... we have the same MSI motherboard for Ryzen.  I have a 2400g.

 

It works well, and i was able to update like 3 weeks ago no problem.

Can you help me allocate ram for the graphics, and maybe up the graphics clock?

yea, Im not at my PC now to say for sure.  and GPU clock is locked as far as i can tell.

 

but theres a setting i think under advanced (not in the OC menu) and integrated peripherals.

 

If you for it to load from the iGPU (instead of PEG) you can pick up to 2GB for VRAM.

Follow the path at the top.

 

Seetings -> advanced -> Inegrated GRaphics.

 

Set PEG to iPGU and a bunch more options will pop up.

 

One is for VRAM.

So i took my drive out of my laptop, before bios update, because it had all my games on it, and now it loaded windows from that drive instead of the ssd
